The concept of burnout describes a number of destructive aspects in the health-care system, especially in nursing. a descriptive study was carried out in order to investigate the relationship between burnout and productivity among 200 baccalaureate nurses working in educational hospitals in tehran, iran.. Hence, this study was conducted to assess the clinical nurses' productivity model presented for iranian nurses' productivity. the sample of the study consisted of 360 nurses of tehran university. Methods: this cross-sectional study was conducted on all nurses working in the emergency departments of 10 hospitals in tehran, iran, in 2017. standard questionnaires were used for gathering the data of participants regarding job burnout, stress, and satisfaction.. To our knowledge, these variables and their relationships have not been studied yet among iranian nurses. this descriptive study was carried out to investigate the relationship between the qwl and productivity among 360 clinical nurses working in the hospitals of tehran university of medical sciences.. It becomes even more important considering that staff's motivation is a predictor of their productivity, and the studies conducted on productivity of iranian nurses show that only 7.5% of iranian nurses have shown the desired productivity.[24,25,27] therefore, improvement of motivation may lead to increase in productivity..
